1. Can I book both Domestic and International flight tickets on VOYAGEKART?

Yes, you can book both domestic as well as international flights.

2. What is an e-ticket?

An e-Ticket refers to an Electronic Ticket which is sent via e-mail within 30 minutes of an online flight booking. It takes away the hassle of maintaining a conventional paper ticket. E-ticket is environment friendly, easy to access and store. maintain. Simply show the eTicket to the airline counter when you check-in.

3. Do you issue paper tickets?

No, we do not issue paper ticket.

4. What is the maximum number of seats I can book?

A maximum of 9 seats can be booked.

5. What is a multi-city flight booking?

A multi-city booking combines flights between several cities into one single reservation. This saves you a lot of time when you’re booking because you’re no longer searching for separate, one-way tickets between each individual city. If the airlines include layovers along your flight routes, you might even be able to get a cheaper ticket.

6. Can I book tickets for infants?

Yes, you can book one infant per adult. The age of the infant must be below 24 months on the date of travel. Make sure you carry valid proof-of-age documents at the time of check-in. The infant is not awarded a seat on the flight and must travel with the accompanying adult.

7. I entered my payment details and hit submit - and all I got was a blank screen! I got charged but don't have an e-ticket. What now?

In some rare cases, we do not receive the response from the payment gateway on confirmation of your payment. In such cases, we will connect with our payment gateway partner to trace your transaction and arrange to refund the amount charged to your card as soon as possible. We suggest that in such cases, you book your trip again.

8. I did a search for flight tickets and selected my flight. However, after providing the passenger details, I see that the fares have increased. Why?

The airline fares are dynamic in nature and are based on availability of the seats on the particular flight. There are always chances that the seats selected by you may get sold by the time you complete your booking. Therefore, to minimize the chances of booking failures, we check the availability of the seats before you proceed with the payment. If you find that the fare has increased at this step, you have the option of going ahead with the booking or refreshing the search.

9. How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

VOYAGEKART will send you an SMS (to Indian numbers only) and an e-mail to confirm your flight booking. This information can also be checked under My Booking Section.

10. How do I get a boarding pass for an e-ticket?

You can check-in in three ways. Some of the airlines provide a web check-in facility, where you can select your seat and print your boarding pass online. If you use this facility, you will have to approach the check-in counter to drop your baggage. You can also check-in using Tele Check-in service provided by some of the airlines. In such cases, you will have to present your ticket and ID proof at Airline check-in counter for issuance of boarding card and for baggage drop. Alternatively, you can check-in physically at the airport counters of the airline through a Kiosk.

11. Do I have to show ID proof at the time of check-in?

Yes, The airline and airport authorities may check your ID proof and we strongly recommend that you carry a government-issued photo-ID proof with you whenever you fly.

12. I've booked my tickets but need to add my child’s tickets to my booking. How do I do it?

If you have not added your Child below 12 years to your original booking, you need to directly contact the airline on which you booked your ticket to add the booking of your Child to accompany you on the same flight.

13. I misspelt my name while booking a ticket. How do I get it changed?

You can call us to check if the airline with which you've booked the tickets entertains change-of-name requests. Most of them do, and we can pass on your request. However, if the airline doesn’t allow it, you’ll have to cancel and re-book the ticket. A name change fee may be applicable in the case of certain airlines.

14. I'm taking a connecting flight. Will I need to change terminals?

In most cases, you will need to change terminals to board your connecting flight. Often the terminals are quite distant from each other, and you'll need to set aside some extra time to walk from one terminal to another. Please make it a point to enquire about your terminal as soon as you arrive at the airport, since gate numbers and terminals can change at the last moment.

15. How much baggage can I carry?

Cabin and checked-in baggage limit vary from airline to airline. Some airlines have baggage weight restrictions and others have a specific number of pieces permitted. Please note that restrictions on baggage apply to both checked-in bags as well as cabin baggage. Often, you’ll be asked to pay for any checked-in luggage that exceeds the weight permitted. Cabin luggage that exceeds the weight limit is not permitted and will have to be checked in. Please check with your airline.

16. Can I book a meal or a special meal through VOYAGEKART?

Yes, you can book a Meal or a Special Meal after selecting your flight options. Special meals are available as an Add-On which can be selected while you make the booking on VOYAGEKART or directly with the airline after the booking is made.

17. Can I do seat selection?

Yes, you can select seats after selecting your flight options. Seat Selections are available as an Add-On which can be selected while you make the booking on VOYAGEKART before proceeding to payment.

18. Can I add extra baggage more than wat is allowed by the airline while booking with VOYAGEKART?

Yes, you can Add Extra Baggage while doing the flight booking on VOYAGEKART. Charges are defined and vary with each Airline and fares. Post the flight booking at our portal, you would have to make add on bookings at Airlines Portal.

19. How can I cancel my redemption for the flight ticket?

You can cancel the ticket under the My Booking section in VOYAGEKART. Airline Cancellation charges and our service fees will be applicable.

20. What happens if my flight is cancelled or delayed?

You will need to check with the airline with which you have booked your flight. Delays of up to 2 hours or more are usually compensated by the Airline through a lounge voucher or a meal voucher. Cancellations are governed by the respective airline policies and usually the amount is refunded as per regulations. You can choose to buy Trip Insurance as an Add-On while booking to protect yourself against such instances.

21. The flight I booked was cancelled by the airline. How do I get my money back?

Normally the airline would try to accommodate you on an alternative flight in case of a flight cancellation. We recommend that you let us know immediately in case of a flight cancellation by the airline when you have not been provided with an alternative option and have not received your refund.

22. What are the cancellation charges?

Cancellation charges depend on the airline, sector, class of booking, and time of cancellation. To know what’s applicable in your case, check the fare rules mentioned on the booking page when you’re making your reservation. You can always refer to the cancellation charges under My Booking Section as well.

23. If I need to cancel my flight, what’s the latest I can do this by?

Usually, you can cancel your flight through VOYAGEKART if your flight departure is more than 6 hours. If it’s less than 6 hours, you need to contact the airline directly for cancellation.

24. How will I get my money back after a cancellation?

We will credit the due amount after deducting all applicable charges, taxes, and fees within 15 working days to the original source of payment.

25. I booked my flights on VOYAGEKART but then cancelled them by directly contacting the airline. How do I claim my refund?

Your refund will be routed back to your original source of payment as per the airline policy. We strongly recommend that you let us know immediately if you cancel your flight ticket directly with the airline.
